Insider: One of the Assassin's Creed Infinity settings will be Ancient Japan, and the other one will surprise gamers a lot
At the moment, the gaming community has minimal information about Ubisoft's massive project called Assassin's Creed Infinity. According to scrappy information, it will be an innovative game-service with several historical eras and setting at once.
Famous insider Jeff Grubb, in a recent episode of the Game Mess Mornings podcast, has brushed up on a bit of information about Infinity. Thus, he said, that the players will finally get the Assassin's Creed in the ancient Japanese setting. Moreover, this will be only one of two sets, but what will be the second one, he is still silent about. Grubb is intriguing gamers and says that the second setting will be very surprising for them, because it will be something different.
The insider believes that Ubisoft's decision to finally pay attention to Japan, as many Assassins fans wanted, was influenced by the tremendous success of Sony's Ghost of Tsushima action game. However, the main "stars" of the French project will not be the samurai, and ninja, which fit perfectly into the theme of Assassin's Creed.
We should remind you that Ubisoft Forward will be presented on September 10. It might be the show where Assassin's Creed Infinity will be unveiled for the first time. But what the audience will probably see is Assassin's Creed Rift, a smaller Ubisoft project with Basim from Assassin's Creed Valhalla as the main character.
