The new Spider-Man files contain mention of a separate PC Launcher for the game
Sony could follow in the footsteps of Ubisoft, Activision or Rockstar and introduce its own game launcher.
In the files of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, which turned out to be just a treasure trove of interesting information, since they have already found information about multiplayer in "spiders", they found a mention of "PlayStation PC Launcher". This could mean that such a platform may already be in Sony's plans. Sony will probably want to implement the previously mentioned integration with PSN with its Launcher.
While neither Marvel's Spider-Man nor any other PlayStation Studios game on PC allows you to connect to PSN accounts, the files for these games contain numerous links to "PSNAccountLinked" and "PSNLinkingEntitlements," which only confirms the company's intentions to move in this direction.
Although PlayStation has the PlayStation PC brand, the company's games are released on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The brand itself serves as a sort of composite term for all PC games released.
