Fortnite and Destiny may have a crossover

The main event in the gaming world this weekend is absolutely no one expected a Destiny and Fortnite crossover. Twitter user @GinsorKR posted a believable screenshot of what the Fortnite-inspired characters will look like for Destiny. The skins look very similar to the Destiny versions of the Black Knight, Catalyst and Omega skins.

This comes amidst the news that Destiny may be coming to the Epic Games Store. If so, it gives a real reason for such a crossover to appear.

Note that Destiny has not been known for frequent crossovers with different games, but Fortnite will not be the first for it. The previous crossover came from Halo. Thematically, the crossover with that series made sense, so players happily ate it up. The situation with Fortnite, on the other hand, is somewhat different. Some players seem to be excited about the idea of skins that actually look pretty cool, and are hoping for more, like the standard Fortnite dance emoji.
