The Lord of the Rings developers have announced a new addition Before the Shadow

The developers of multiplayer role-playing game The Lord of the Rings Online announced a new add-on. It will be called Before the Shadow, and the main feature of the expansion will be two new regions: Swanfleet and Cardolan.

Before the Shadow storyline will tell about the events that took place before Frodo and his teammates went on a journey.
There will be a lot of content in the DLC, including new character quests from levels 1 to 32, four Books for new characters, a dungeon for six high-level heroes, new combat and a new Delving system with special rewards and challenges.

More details about Before the Shadow the developers promise to announce in the near future, but for now there is an add-on's announcement trailer.

DLC pre-order will be available in September.
