SpongeBob and Patrick save the universe: gameplay video of the new platformer SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

IGN's YouTube channel revealed a 14-minute gameplay video of the action-platformer SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.

In the new game from Purple Lamp Studios everything is in the best traditions of the cartoon series: bright style, simple story, funny characters, unpretentious, but fascinating gameplay.

In the story SpongeBob and Patrick (Patrick Star) will visit seven different worlds to save the universe. Along the way they will meet all the characters that inhabit Bikini Bottom.

A release date for the game has not yet been announced, but we know that the new SpongeBob will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
