Head of Halo resigns after 15 years
Bonnie Ross, founder of 343 Indusrties, which was responsible for the development of Halo, has announced that she is leaving her position as head of the studio:
"Although I had hoped to stay out of Halo until the next winter update, I'm letting you know today that I will be leaving 343 and dealing with a family medical issue," she wrote on Twitter. "I am incredibly proud of the work everyone at 343 Industries has done with Halo Infinite, Master Chief Collection, the Halo television series and so much more."
The developer has been with Microsoft since 1994, and was part of the initial 343 Indusreies team in 2007 when Xbox Studios was founded. In addition to the Halo game series, her company has also been involved in the development of a series based on the game from Paramaunt Plus, which has now extended into its second season.
Pierre Hinze is the new head of 343.
