Beta testing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: dates, platforms, system requirements and other details from the developers of the shooter

Pretty soon beta testing multiplayer component of the shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will take place.

Here's What We Know

  • September 14, pre-loading of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for PlayStation consoles will start.
  • On September 16, multiplayer beta testing will begin for those who pre-ordered on PlayStation.
  • On September 18, testing will be available to all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 console users.
  • On September 22-23, Xbox and PC users who pre-purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be able to try out the game.
  • September 24-26 everyone can participate in the beta test.

System Requirements

To take part in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta test, players' computers must meet the following requirements:

Minimum

  • AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card;
  • RAM - 8 GB;
  • Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-3570;
  • Disk space - 25 GB.

Recommended

  • Graphics card - AMD Radeon RX 580 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060;
  • RAM - 16GB;
  • Processor - AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or Intel Core i7 4770K;
  • Disk space - 25 GB.

Release Date

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is scheduled for release on October 28 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. An added bonus for pre-order will be access to the game's story campaign a week earlier - from October 20.
