Meta Corporation announced the acquisition of several new studios for VR game development.

Mark Zuckerberg's company includes the following studios:

  • Armature - developer of the Resident Evil 4 version of Meta Quest 2;
  • Camouflaj, the creator of the stealth adventure game République;
  • Twisted Pixel, the creator of Wilson's Heart and Path of the Warrior.

All the studios are already working on new projects, but their announcements are still some time away.

All of the developers' past works will appear on Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headsets. For example, Marvel's Iron Man VR 2020 will be released on the new platform on November 3.

In addition, the corporation announced that a VR version of the popular online game Among Us will be released on Meta Quest 2 on Nov. 10, with its developer, Innersloth Studios, not a part of Meta.

Meta Quest 2 users will also be able to experience the zombie action game The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution, which will be released on their devices in December.
