The head of Microsoft gaming division Phil Spencer has once again stressed that the plans of the American corporation does not include the release of Call of Duty exclusively on its platforms.

Here's What We Know

After the announcement of Microsoft's intention to buy the publisher Activision Blizzard, the network has not stopped speculating that the most popular shooter series Call of Duty will stop coming out on PlayStation consoles, becoming the PC and Xbox exclusive.

Despite Spencer's repeated statements that PlayStation users will not be left without access to new parts of Call of Duty, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan has not stopped sounding the alarm and trying to prove that the takeover of Activision Blizzard will be a serious blow to the brand PlayStation and disrupt the competitiveness of the gaming market.

Phil Spencer once again gave an interview to Game Informer in which he stated that:

We're not taking Call of Duty away from the PlayStation!
As long as there are PlayStation games to release on, we intend to release Call of Duty on the PlayStation. We did the same thing with Minecraft when it became our property. We released Minecraft on additional platforms, not cut back. And that was a good thing...for the Minecraft community, in my opinion. I want to do the same thing with Call of Duty as we think about growing the franchise in the future.
