Baldur's Gate 3 will get an exact release date next month

The developers still plan to release Baldur's Gate 3 in 2023, and next month we should be informed about the exact date of the game's release.

Information about this appeared in a new developer blog on the Baldur's Gate 3 page on Steam, where they also promise that we will see new features "by the end of the year" thanks to patch 9.

"The good news is that we're on track for a 2023 release - and we'll have more on that in December," the blog reads, " Acts 2 and 3 are being actively tested to make sure they're up to par, and you'll soon find out that there's a lot more in the works (or already completed) than what you've seen in the Early Access playtest.

The team also said that it "continues to pay close attention to all your feedback, bug reports, comments, your fan art and jokes" and says that the game's early access lasted perhaps longer than planned, but it was all necessary to "tell a great story, incorporate feedback and be a worthy continuation of the series"
