The colossal success of Elden Ring: the newest game from FromSoftware sold more than 17.5 million copies!

Publisher Bandai Namco has made a fresh financial report in which it revealed the updated sales figures of one of the most successful games of 2022 - Elden Ring.

Since its release (February 25) action-RPG Elden Ring has been one of the best-selling games. Thus, the project studio FromSoftware more than four months was the leader among the games on the Steam sales chart, second only to the Steam Deck console.

Bandai Namco's report revealed that Hidetaka Miyazaki's game had sold over 17.5 million copies by the end of September! This fact made it the best-selling multiplatform game from the Japanese developers.

For sure after such a tremendous success of Elden Ring, the developers will release one or even a few major story extensions. It is likely that the first DLC Elden Ring will be announced at The Games Awards show, which will be held on December 8.
