Say No to Toxicity! Ubisoft and Riot Games team up to fight offensive behavior by gamers in online games
Gaming companies Ubisoft and Riot Games have teamed up to combat toxic and abusive behavior by users of their online games.
Here's What We Know
Ubisoft and Riot Games will launch a neural network that will eventually learn to recognize offensive messages and automatically stop unwanted behavior. To train the neural network will be used data from some of the companies' games, but what projects are implied is not yet disclosed.
The training phase of the neural network is planned to be completed in 2023, and if the project is successful, then soon the system will begin full operation.
Previously, similar projects have been announced by many gaming companies: Valve, Microsoft, Amazon, but the problem remains extremely urgent and requires a more comprehensive approach.
