Bungie brings back one of the most beloved Destiny armor sets
Players in Destiny 2 love to complain about the armor sets that were released for the PvP game, which is held twice a season. Fans of science fiction claim that the sets in the same first Destiny just look better.
For example, in Destiny 1, the Iron Banner armor was heavily inspired by medieval knights - a fitting style for the Iron Lords set in the dark times of the game after the collapse. Destiny 2's Iron Banner sets, meanwhile, take inspiration from elsewhere, such as the samurai-themed Iron Remembrance set, and draw on some more specific armor design philosophies in the sequel that, frankly, have never been as well recognized by the community.
If you are one of those for whom this is a really big deal, then there is good news for you. A new set of armor will be among the Iron Banner rewards in Season 19, replacing the Forerunner items that have been available for the past year. Also new in season 19 will be two new modes, one of which will offer individual special PvP game options, and the other will be an analogue of the "Zone Control" mode.
