Riot Games deleted a League of Legends character after she suddenly gained the ability to destroy enemies with one shot

Riot Games has temporarily removed the character Neeko in League of Legends after she unexpectedly gained the ability to transform into a massive tower with the ability to kill her enemies with one shot.

In fact, Nico can still change shape, as it is known from her biography: "can blend into any crowd, borrowing the appearance of others, even absorbing some of their emotional state to instantly distinguish friend from foe". Her passive ability allows her to take the form of an allied champion: while cloaked she can use basic attacks, but will revert to her natural form if she takes any damage.

At least, that's how it's supposed to work. But recently a new bug was discovered that gave Neeko the ability to transform into a tower, specifically the Nexus Obelisk, the type of tower that has the highest damage in the game. Therefore, for the time being, the developers have removed the character from the game to figure out why the problem occurred and fix it.
