The Callisto Protocol will use Denuvo DRM
The Callisto Protocol will use software from Denuo to protect the game from piracy, which may be a concern for those gamers who prefer to play on PC. The problem is that similar software in other games often caused users performance problems and even problems in the game itself.
Here's What We Know
DSO Gaming was the first to notice this issue. Information about this can be found on the game's Steam page, where the controversial anti-piracy and anti-tampering software is listed among the features. Denuvo is often a source of concern among the gaming community. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon as even titles like Resident Evil 4 Remake will be using it. Therefore, it seems that players will have to accept it and hope that Denuvo developers will optimize their system.
Callisto Protocol is scheduled to release on December 2, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
