Adventure Buccanyar will be released on April 20, 2023 in Japan

The developer of Studio Sainzensen announced that its adventure strategy game Buccanyar will be released on April 20, 2023 in Japan and will cost 7480 Japanese yen (which is approximately $54).

The game will be available to play tomorrow, November 25, at the Akihabara Game Show 2022, as well as at the Volks Akihabara Hobby Paradise demo event in the store on December 3 and 4.

The short version of the game's prologue is as follows:

"Long ago, the world suffered a great disaster, and most of the land was flooded by the sea. Although the beauty of the ocean was preserved, the creatures that inhabited it underwent strange transformations, and people categorically refused to enter its waters. People lived on the small land that remained. And then one day "it" appeared. It was a giant with great wings, who shone on the world with holy light, later called the "Light of Judgment". The light gave strength to people and life. It was the awakening and evolution of all living things. Not only people, but also cats, dogs, pigs and other animals. The world has changed. People united with the awakened animals and went to sea again. It was the beginning of the "era of the blue sea"... and our story will begin there..."

The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and NintendoSwitch.
