Just like in the movies: a new cooperative shooter based on "Starfleet" was announced

Offworld Industries has announced a cooperative PvE shooter based on the Starship Troopers universe.

Here's What We Know

Project called Starship Troopers: Extermination will offer players to team up in teams of 4 and go to fight against bloodthirsty Arachnids.

One match involves up to 12 players. Gamers will be offered a choice of three traditional character classes - Attack, Support and Defense. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, and each player is an indispensable unit on the battlefield.

The developers promise really large-scale battles and dynamic gameplay. In addition to shooting bugs, players will build fortifications, such as walls and barricades.

When We Can Expect It

Starship Troopers: Extermination will release in early access on Steam in 2023. At the moment only the PC version is announced, but maybe eventually the game will be released on consoles as well.
