Voting for the best PlayStation games has started: 16 categories feature Sony and third-party projects for 2022

Sony has launched a user vote on the PlayStation Blog website.

Gamers can vote for their favorite games of 2022 that came out on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Note, we're not just talking about Sony exclusives, but also third-party games available on Japanese consoles.

Voting will last until 9:00 (CET) on December 15, and the winners will be known in late December.

This year, users are voting for the most deserving games in the following categories:

• Best New Character
• Best Storytelling
• Best use of DualSense
• Best Multiplayer
• Best Sports Game
• Best Use of Special Features
• Best demonstration of graphic features
• Best Art Direction
• Best Music
• Best Sound Design
• Best Reissue
• Independent Game of the Year
• Best Service Game
• Best PS4 Game of the Year
• Best PS5 Game of the Year
• Most anticipated game of 2023.
