A professional player in CoD: Warzone 2.0 caught using cheats during his own live broadcast
Professional CoD player Exoniz recently participated in the Warzone World Classic tournament with a prize pool of $100,000. Exoniz is a notorious player, as his colleagues often posted strange clips of his games and suggested that he might be a cheater. In fact, such accusations often arise in eSports, but in this case they were backed by evidence.
Here's one of the clips that started circulating before the tournament, which shows Exoniz's scope "locking on" to a player who is not even visible:
It's not actually 100% proof, but Exoniz decided to respond to it anyway. Irritated by the claims that he was cheating, Exoniz decided to broadcast his monitor on Twitch during the tournament. At one point, Exoniz moved the monitor to a mount, after which an unusual looking menu popped up in the middle of the screen. Exoniz quickly claimed it was a glitch, but, you know, it looked more like a cheat menu for some tricky software than a glitch.
Exoniz stopped streaming shortly after that, but that was enough for the tournament organizers and the player was disqualified.
So, that's why it's better not to cheat in online games and especially not to enable live streams during tournaments.
