The announcement of the RPG Dragon's Dogma sequel in Summer 2022 was not very informative. The developers showed no trailer or teaser and didn't give any details about the game. Capcom decided that "we're working on Dragon's Dogma 2" was a sufficient statement.

Finally, Game Director Itsuno Hideaki, in a small interview with Japanese Famitsu magazine, which was later published by the English-language portal The Gamer, said that Dragon's Dogma 2 development is actively progressing and soon the developers will be able to reveal much more details about the fantasy game.

At the moment, I'm so engrossed in Dragon's Dogma 2 that I lose track of what time of year it is. Things are going well, so I hope to see further progress in the game's development so we can share the news with you as soon as possible.

All we know about the game is that it's being built on the RE Engine, which was used in the current parts of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry 5.
