Sony is taking the availability of its games to a whole new level!
Here's What We Know
At the international exhibition CES 2023 the Japanese corporation announced a controller for PlayStation 5 consoles, designed specifically for people with disabilities.
Project Leonardo (working title) is still in development, and detailed information about it has not yet been reported. It is known that it will be a device similar to the Xbox Adaptive Controller, with a lot of settings and replaceable components. For example, there are three types of sticks, and the buttons can be swapped and assigned two functions at once.
The Project Leonardo controller is being developed together with experts from AbleGamers, SpecialEffect and Stack Up and Sony's in-house consultants.
Flashback
Even though the gamepad isn't out yet, Sony's current games have an incredible degree of accessibility. This is evidenced by the fact that a total blind gamer recently completed God of War: Ragnarok on his own.
