Assassin's Creed Mirage advertising campaign makes a special emphasis on the fact that the game will be as close to the first parts of the series as possible both gameplay-wise and story-wise.

Fans of the franchise should be pleased with the game's compactness. Unlike the last three parts with the subtitles Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, the events of Mirage take place in one city, so the game will not tire with a huge open world.

In a recent interview with GamesRadar+, Ubisoft's creative director Stéphane Boudon explained that the decision to depart from the concept of the last three parts was dictated solely by the wishes of the players.

When We Can Expect It

Unconfirmed information suggests that Assassin's Creed Mirage will not release until August 2023 and will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
