At the stream The Deck the developers of Skull and Bones demonstrated the gameplay, graphics and storyline of the pirate action game
Ubisoft hosted a stream of The Deck, where new details about the pirate action game Skull and Bones were revealed.
During the half-hour stream, two developers - narrative designer Joel Janisse and senior game designer Alexis Cretton - described and, most importantly, detailed the gameplay.
Here's What We Know
The developers demonstrated the mission, in which the player has to deal with rebels by order of the queen.
The gameplay of Skull and Bones is similar to the ship's control in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Of course, there are innovations, but in the half an hour video it is difficult to fully appreciate them. It is worth noting that the graphics in the game are really good, and the ships look realistic and beautiful.
Storytelling designer Joel Jeniss revealed that during the game gamers will be getting different letters, notes and documents that will help to create the overall picture of the game world.
When We Can Expect It
The game's release has been postponed six times, so it's hard to say when Skull and Bones will be released. The presenters of the streamer were silent about it, but probably the game will be released in the second half of 2023.
Skull and Bones will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
