Has the dragon risen from the ashes of production hell? PlatinumGames may have resumed work on the fantasy action game Scalebound, canceled in 2017
Fans of games from PlatinumGames studio probably remember the promising project Scalebound, which the Japanese game designers created in collaboration with Microsoft.
The game, similar to Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter at the same time, aroused great public interest, but, despite this, was canceled in 2017.
Unexpectedly, XboxEra podcast host Nick Baker - better known as Shpeshal_Nick - revealed that according to his information, work on the fantasy action game has resumed.
The insider is not ready to say that Scalebound is indeed in development, but his sources indicate exactly that.
Flashback
Scalebound was announced in 2014. The developers showed several colorful trailers in which the protagonist enlisted the support of a powerful dragon.
