The Developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 told about the work on the game during the war in Ukraine and showed two new screenshots of the shooter

Wired has published an interview with the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl from the GSC Game World studio.

Ukrainian game designers said that due to the war, unleashed by Russia, their team was forced to split up: one part is based in Prague, and the other part - remains in Ukraine, which greatly complicates the game development. Recently one of the game's developers, Volodymyr Yezhov, died defending Ukraine.

But the work on Heart of Chornobyl is ongoing, and a new part of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is scheduled for release as early as this year. In addition, the developers have shown two new screenshots:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be available on PC, Xbox Series and will appear in the Game Pass catalog on release day.
