Blizzard is conducting a survey of players on how much they are willing to pay for a Heartstone subscription
This week, Blizzard sent out a survey to Hearthstone players, asking them, among other things, whether they would be willing to pay a monthly fee to access various collectible cards.
The options included:
- Monthly Subscription (all standard tier 1 cards): One monthly price of $10 to access all standard tier 1 cards of your choice;
- Monthly subscription (all standard cards): one monthly price of $20 to access all standard cards, including the current expansion;
- Monthly subscription (all standard cards): one monthly price of $10 for access to all standard cards except the current extension;
- Monthly Subscription (Top 3 Class deck): One monthly price of $10 for access to the current top performing deck for 3 classes of your choice.
The survey states that all the cards in the set will be unrecyclable, so you won't be able to bite the dust.
The survey also contains a bunch of other interesting options. The console and Steam Deck versions of the game are being discussed, as well as a standalone app for Battlegrounds, a tournament mode, in-game live events, and all kinds of cosmetics. But there are more surprising things, such as fully implemented 3D gameplay (which seems unlikely given the brutal reception of the 3D portrait of Arthas), a card market between players, and even bi-weekly balance patches.
