V Rising has sold over 3 million copies
It seems that V Rising was released in early access at a time when people were eager to survive with bloodsuckers. Recently, the developer Stunlock Studios reported that more than 3 million copies were sold, which is a remarkable result for an indie game that hasn't even been fully released.
The studio also announced a new free update, the main feature of which will be several new floors in the castle. As it turned out, this is the most popular feature among players.
"Here at Stunlock Studios, the earthshaking launch of V Rising's Early Access wasn't a surprise in it's success, but in its magnitude," said marketing director Johan Ilves. "Our faith in our product was rewarded in connecting us with an unprecedented audience ranging from the most brutal vampiric dictators to the most elegant counts and countesses, and that audience grows every day. The passion of our player base has been nothing short of inspiring."
