Amazon is known to be the international publisher of the next game in the Tomb Raider franchise. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, the corporation's plans are much broader than that.

Portal's sources claim that Amazon, in addition to the game from Crystal Dynamics, expects to release a full-length film and even a TV series.

What's more, all of these projects are planned to combine a single storyline and characters to form a new universe.

A new film about Lara Croft (Lara Croft) will be filmed in conjunction with the studio dj2 Entertainment, which is currently working on an animated series of mentioned franchise for Netflix.

The script for the Tomb Raider series will be written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who has worked on No Time To Die and the Killing Eve and Fleabag series.
