A unique Antonov An-225 Mriya, destroyed by Russian occupiers, will appear in Microsoft Flight Simulator

During a stream about further seasonal updates to the flight simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator, the developers revealed some interesting news.

Here's What We Know

In February, the PC-version of the simulator, and in March on the Xbox Series X|S will appear the pride of Ukrainian aviation - a unique and only in the world aircraft An-225 "Mriya" (Antonov An-225 Mriya).

The real plane was destroyed by Russian troops in the first days of the invasion of Ukraine. Later, President Zelenskyy announced that the Mriya would be restored and Microsoft decided to facilitate this.

The An-225 will appear in Microsoft Flight Simulator as $20 paid DLC and all proceeds will be donated to Ukraine for the restoration of the legendary plane.

When We Can Expect It

On 27th February - the anniversary of the destruction of An-225, the plane will get a second life in a popular game.
