Monkey Island, Psychonauts and Grim Fandango creator Tim Schaefer to be honoured with a place in the Video Game Hall of Fame
The annual D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony will take place on 23 February. Awards 2023.
It is interesting in that the winners are decided by professional game developers.
In addition to choosing the best games of 2022 (remember, God of War: Ragnarok is the leader in the number of nominations), the D.I.C.E. Awards 2023 will announce the names of game designers, who are worthy of a place in the Hall of Fame.
Here's What We Know
We already know one name: Tim Schafer, the creator of the cult quest and action games Monkey Island, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. Having founded Double Fine Productions, he created the extraordinary and unique games Brutal Legend, Broken Age, and two Psychonauts.
Shafer is inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame alongside such iconic game designers as Todd Howard, Hideo Kojima, Ed Boon, Ray Muzyka and the Houser Brothers.
