Tom Henderson confirms that Activision is working on two full Call of Duty games: Jupiter and Cerberus
Famous gaming insider Tom Henderson has confirmed the latest rumours about the leaked documents revealing the future of the Call of Duty series.
Here's What We Know
In 2023, we can expect the release of the full Call of Duty, which is currently codenamed Jupiter. And in 2024, the next instalment will be released, which is mentioned in the documents under the name Cerberus. In addition, the document contains information about DLC for Modern Warfare II and confidential information about employees.
All of this data was obtained on 4 December 2022, when an unknown hacker was able to access the computer of an employee of the HR department. Although Henderson could not confirm the information about the Activision employee's computer, he noted that player data did not fall into the hands of a hacker (or hackers).
As for the DLC for Modern Warfare II, some of the information in the document is already outdated, but this month Tom Henderson has already written in detail about it. Initially, it was really supposed to be an add-on, but now it is being created as a full-fledged game, perhaps this is the mysterious Jupiter Project. The game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games. The next instalment is also being created for previous-generation consoles, and the first beta test is due in October 2023.
