Players have spent 267 million hours at Wizardry School and destroyed 1.25 billion dark wizards - WB Games reports success of Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy, which allows gamers to plunge into the world of witchcraft and sorcery based on the works of Joanne Rowling, was released on 10 February and immediately became very popular. WB Games has decided to back it up with numbers.
Here's What We Know
As of February 21, 2023, gamers have spent over 267 million hours playing Hogwarts Legacy. During that time, they have grown 393 million magical plants and made potions over 242 times. Less than two weeks was enough time for players to win over 1.25 billion dark wizards.
WB Games was pleased with the way their new open-world action/RPG game debuted. David Haddad sees a bright future and promises to continue developing the franchise. That said, the developers have previously announced that no DLC is planned for Hogwarts Legacy.
