GDC 2023, the video game developer conference, will be held in San Francisco from March 20 to 24 and will feature representatives from many major studios.

Here's What We Know

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 shooter from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World. The developers will talk about the Nvidia technologies, used in the creation of Heart of Chornobyl, in particular, about Audio2Face, which allows you to create realistic facial animation of characters based on the spoken word.

Join the show to learn how GSC developers are using NVIDIA's generative artificial intelligence technology in their content creation processes. We will take an exclusive look at S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, and talk about the challenges involved in creating facial animations and localization. We will then demonstrate the Omniverse Audio2Face AI SDK, discuss the challenges it helps solve and how we incorporate AI technology into our development.

A panel with GSC Game World will take place from 00:00 to 00:30 (CET) on the night of March 24.

It is possible that GSC Game World will also reveal a release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but don't get your hopes up.
