The new Flashpoint map in Battlefield 2042 references the Mirror's Edge series of games

Recently, Battlefield 2042 released Season 4, the main novelty of which was the Flashpoint map, where attentive players found an Easter egg about the Mirror's Edge series of games. If you really explore the map, you could find a pair of red boots on the outskirts of Flashpoint that belonged to the protagonist of Mirro's Edge, Faith:

Flashback

Mirror's Edge is an action-adventure series developed by Dice that has received two parts. The original game was released in 2008 and was well received by both players and critics. Then, in 2016, a prequel was released, which revealed more about the origin of Faith and her family. Both Mirror's Edge games are now available on PC and Xbox consoles, but the original version is not available on PlayStation 4 due to a lack of backwards compatibility.
