Ratloop Games Canada and Frontier Foundry have announced that Lemnis Gate will be discontinued two years after its launch. It will become unavailable for purchase on 11 April, and on 11 July, it will be removed from storefronts on all platforms.

Here's What We Know

The developers thanked the community for supporting them since the game's release in November 2021. Although the project wanted to make an "innovative twist on the FPS genre", it did not gain enough popularity in two years. According to Steam Charts, the game had only 362 players in the pitch at launch, and it never managed to increase this figure. The same situation was with it on other platforms.

"From 11 April 2023, Lemnis Gate will be withdrawn from sale on all platforms. However, we will keep the multiplayer servers online until 11 July," the developer said in a statement. Those who want to say goodbye to the sci-fi shooter will be able to join the multiplayer servers for a while after the game is removed from stores. Console players, on the other hand, "will still have access to local multiplayer and training modes, but PC players will not be able to play any further".
