A crowdfunding campaign raises funds for the first board game in the Deead Cells universe will soon start on Kickstarter
A fundraising campaign for Rogue Lite, a board game based on Dead Cells, will soon be launched on Kickstarter.
Here's What We Know
Dead Cells Rogue Lite is described as a dungeon crawler that will offer players a "collaborative rogue-like experience inspired by the Metroidvania genre". The game can be played by 1 to 4 players, and parties will last about 45 minutes. The developers say that they are working closely with Motion Twin and Evil Empire studios to preserve the spirit of Dead Cells as much as possible.
Despite the fact that the Kickstarter campaign will start "later" this spring, more than 10,000 people have already backed the project.
"We are extremely excited about this, especially as Dead Cells is a video game that holds a special place in our hearts. We are joined by a group of veteran and decorated designers [...] to bring their vast experiences to the design of the first board game in the Dead Cells universe in conjunction with the game development teams Motion Twin, and Evil Empire.", the creators concluded.
