Rumours: Forspoken's budget could have been more than $100 million, but this did not help the game become successful

According to the LinkedIn page of the former developer Luminous Productions, Forspoken's budget could have been more than $100,000,000. This is not the highest figure for AAA games. For comparison, the development of GTA V cost $137 million, and Red Dead Redemption 2 cost more than $170 million. But these games have become cult titles. And Forspoken is unlikely to achieve this status ever again. Moreover, Square Enix has already stated that the game's sales were not the best.
