Ubisoft has released a free Far Cry 5 update for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. The game is now available in 4K and 60 FPS

Ubisoft has taken the intrigue out of the game and announced an improved version of Far Cry 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.

The game now offers improved graphics, higher frame rates and a number of other features on these devices.

On Xbox Series X the shooter is available in 4K resolution, while on Series S it is available in 1920x1080.

On the PS5, the maximum resolution is 2880x1620.

Plus, to celebrate Far Cry 5's five-year anniversary, the developers have announced a free weekend from March 23-27.
