Digital Bros has published a financial report, in which it talks about the success of Control and future projects in the game's universe.

Here's What We Know

Control was released in 2019. During this time, 3 million copies were sold, and the game earned $98 million, although the project budget was slightly less than 30 million. Digital Bros is excited about the success of Control, noting that the game was loved by critics and players alike, nominated for eleven BAFTA Games Awards and won more than twenty Game of the Year awards.

Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control, has now signed two new development contracts with Control to develop Condor, the multiplayer
spin-off of Control, and Control 2. The two games will be developed on Remedy's proprietary Northlight technology. They will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The initial investment in Condor and Control 2 is €25 million and €50 million respectively.
