Six billion battles and undefeated Malenia: Elden Ring developers unveil in-game stats for their hit game

The success of the action-RPG Elden Ring from Japanese studio FromSoftware is unquestionable. The game was sold in more than 20 million copies in a year, while the number of awards and accolades is close to 350.
Publisher Bandai Namco has provided overall statistics that show the success of Elden Ring:
- Around 6 billion boss battles have been fought;
- Malenia was the strongest opponent, having been fought 329 million times;
- 69% of the game's deaths were due to enemy kills;
- 14% of heroes died from falls from heights;
- 2% of total deaths were due to PvP battles;
- A billion times players used the option to summon allies, 88% of which was for cooperative play and the rest for invasions;
- The most popular spell was Throwing Stone.
