Voice actor Tony Todd, who plays the role of Venom, has tweeted that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for a September release this year.

According to him, Sony will be running a massive advertising campaign in August.

The new game will be a direct sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and the developers promise it will be much bigger, more technologically advanced and more interesting than the previous one.
