The Metacritic aggregator has compiled a list of the best game publishers of 2022.

This time the leader is Sony.

Second place went to popular strategy publisher Paradox Interactive, while Activision Blizzard came in third.

Such giants of the game industry as Microsoft and Nintendo were not in the Top 10. But it included Focus Entertainment, Take-Two Interactive, Capcom, Sega, Annapurna Interactive, Humble Games and Devolver Digital.

Metacritic's ranking of the best publishers includes only those companies that have released five or more games in a year, not including iOS projects. The main criterion is the average critics' score.
