Last month Ubisoft confirmed its participation in the international E3 2023 exhibition, but unexpectedly the company's plans have changed.
Here's What We Know
A statement from the French publisher, published on the VGC website, says that Ubisoft management has decided not to attend E3 and to "move in a different direction".
"The other direction" will be Ubisoft's own Forward Live show, which will be held on June 12 in Los Angeles - the day before E3.
It is now unclear how the E3 show organisers will attract attendees and viewers with all of the world's leading game companies, including Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, announcing that they will not be appearing at this year's once-popular show.
