Another country has approved the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.

And surprisingly enough, it's Japan.

Here's What We Know

JFTC (Japan's Fair Trade Commission) saw no danger in the merger of the two American giants for the global and Japanese gaming industry.

The decision of Japanese regulators was not affected by the fierce opposition of their compatriots from Sony, who are trying their best to prevent this deal.

With countries such as Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Chile and Serbia already on Microsoft's side, and the UK having given preliminary approval (the final verdict will be announced by the end of April), Phil Spencer is increasingly likely to acquire Bobby Kotick's company.
