Just a few days ago Counter-Strike 2 was officially announced. The game's closed testing had just begun and very few gamers had access to it.

But that didn't stop the organizer of eSports PGL from starting the preparations for the first major Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

Here's What We Know

The competition will take place in the Danish capital Copenhagen from March 17 to 31, 2024.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will feature 24 of the world's top Counter-Strike teams who will compete for a prize pool of $1,250,000.

When We Can Expect It

Counter-Strike 2 is supposed to be released on PC in the summer of 2023. The game may also be released on mobile devices.
