Mariupol is arguably the first major Ukrainian city to stand in the way of the Russian occupying army.

The city of about half a million people has been almost completely destroyed and its inhabitants subjected to unimaginable suffering. The death toll is still unknown.

Mariupol is the pain of Ukraine. A city that has been turned into ruins.

Ukrainian indie studio Twigames decided to develop a game with a storyline based on these terrible events, to make the whole world know about the horrors of civilians.

Here's What We Know

Isometric RPG Hollow Home tells the story of 12-year-old Ukrainian boy Max, who one day woke up in the chaos of war, rockets, destruction and death.

To survive, the hero and the inhabitants of destroyed Mariupol have to adapt to the new realities. Hollow Home is a story-driven game that aims to depict the horrors of civilians as faithfully as possible through the eyes of a child forced to grow up and fight for his life one day.

Hollow Home will be similar to the hit Polish game This War of Mine, but, alas, based on real events.

The official announcement of Hollow Home is planned for spring 2023. Interested users can follow the project on the official website and Twitter account.
