Capcom shares hit record high after release of Resident Evil 4 remake

The success of the Resident Evil 4 remake is undeniable: the game tops the sales charts, receives excellent reviews from critical gamers and is generally of high quality. Three million copies of the game were sold in the first two days of release alone.
The updated horror's successful release has had a positive effect on Capcom's stock price - they have reached record highs.
For example, the Japanese publisher's stock topped ¥4,865 (about $36), then the shares went down slightly, but over the last month Capcom stock price went up by 10% on the whole.
