Blizzard has shared information about what we can expect in the new season of Overwatch 2, including a new Sratwatch mode, a new hero, a new battle pass, and changes to the Brigitte character.

Here's What We Know

Lifewaever is a new support class hero, a dedicated scientist whose skill set focuses on healing and defence mechanisms. His skills include Healing Blossom, which is a healing explosion, Life Grip, which will pull teammates to safety, and Tree of Life, which will provide long-term healing and protection to allies.

In Starwatch mode, players will join the Watchers or the Infinite Empire and take part in an intense battle for galactic supremacy in a space opera PvP mode. It will be available from 9 to 22 May, allowing players to earn a lot of rewards.

Along with Season 4, the game will introduce a new arcade mode, BOB and Weave, in which players can team up with two friends. In this mode, teams of three players will compete in deadly battles. Each team will receive a BOB, which can be used to unlock the Life Grip and move past enemies. The BOB and Weave event will be available from 25 April, and players who complete the task by this day will receive special rewards - Lifeweaver and Thai New Year.

The game developers, together with the players, have prepared a new non-canonical map, Talantis, which will be available to players from 25 April to 1 May. The map was developed by the community with the participation of game director Aaron Keller and art director Dion Rogers and features death pits, jump raids and traps for PvP battles. All in all, Talantis is a stylish and exciting map that will definitely interest many players.

The developers did not forget about changes in the balance. One of them is the redesigned ultimate skill for Brigget, which will become more powerful and attractive to players. Now her shield will be able to increase health and stun enemies, while providing a fixed amount of armour that can be restored.
