Fake or a super new generation game? Unrecord shooter gameplay video has generated a lot of discussion, striking in its realism and leaving a lot of questions
Video games have reached such a technical level that it is difficult to distinguish between reality and computer graphics.
This fact is perfectly demonstrated by an indie game (!) which Alexandre Spindler started alone and was later joined by several more colleagues.
Here's What We Know
Few would have believed that Unrecord's gameplay video was footage from the game and not from a policeman's breast camera. The fact that the presented trailer is an early version(!) makes the situation even more spicy, but it is strikingly realistic.
Soon after the video was published, many users have suggested that the game is a fake and the game is trying to pass off as a police newsreel. Because of this, the developers had to publish the explanation on Steam, that the game really exists and it would take a lot of resources to fake it.
Unrecord is an innovative detective shooter about a policeman who needs to investigate crimes. The hero not only has to deal with his direct duties, but also has to engage in dialogue with characters, make difficult decisions and confront criminal gangs.
The game is created on the Unreal Engine 5 engine and simulates a police officer's chest camera footage.
When We Can Expect It
The game's release date is unknown, and it will be published by French company DRAMA.
The project can be added to your wishlist on Steam.
