Media: An animated series based on the indie hit Vampire Survivors is in development

The indie game Vampire Survivors, created by single developer Luca Galante, has made a lot of noise in the media space and has won the love of millions of gamers.

Fans of the game commented that the animated inserts in each trailer looked amazing and could be made into a full-fledged TV series.

It seems that their wishes have been heard.

According to Deadline, media company Story Kitchen is working with Vampire Survivors developer Luca Galante on an animated series!

The developer doesn't hide his excitement and here's how he commented on the news of working on the anime:

The most important thing about Vampire Survivors is the story of a dream come true. It started as a little indie game that I created on weekends, and now it's becoming an animated show!

It's great to collaborate with experienced and talented people when working on an animated series. And I do wonder if they've realised that there are no vampires in a game with that title.

The series is in the early stages of production at the moment.
